She’s a GREAT Tumblr gijinka [I totally forgot to get her hair clip in here] and it’s funny because it’s true
Just found that it’s Riningear!
wow ! see i would have just thought she was an obnoxious ass but i guess this is’funny’ now. no im not offended i jsut find her attempt at humor lazy and trite. seriously? get a life
Hello!! I’m the tumblr cosplayer up there.
I apologize if you don’t see my cosplay as funny! However, many people at the convention appreciated the type of humor I expressed “in-character,” even if they didn’t seem to get it at first. (Those kinds usually called the cosplay “meta,” which I understand.) I actually scrapped my original Saturday cosplay because of (1) safety reasons involving the nature of the original cosplay and (2) because so many people enjoyed the cosplay on Friday — and it was just as popular both days. Even a few press photographers understood the joke! And that makes it all worth it in the end. I suppose I can’t please everyone though. uwu
Anyway, thank you so much for proving the point that I was trying to make in the cosplay — that there will always be someone on this website openly upset about stupid, small things, including this little cosplay, which was meant to be a cute, fun way to parody this website and get a few giggles. I think your negative opinion might have just made the experience twenty times more “ironic.”
Somebody on Tumblr got offended by a Tumblr cosplay with an “I’m offended” sign.
Otakon 2012 is my favorite convention.
